In order to study the effects of G,S.R. Aqua-acupuncture by density on gallstone induced by lithogenic diet contained 0.5 % cholesterol and 0.25 % sodium cholate in mice, G.S.R. Aqua-acupuncture with was inserted into both the correspond loci of the Yang nung chon(GB_(34)) of the human body to mice.
The groups divided into 6 ; normal group(none treated group), control group(group administered with lithogenic diet contained 0.5 % cholesterol and 0.25 % sodium cholate), G.S.R.-A group(5 % G.S.R. Aqua-acupuncture) G.S.R.-B group(10 % G.S.R. Aqua-acupuncture) G.S.R.-C group(20 % G.S.R. Aquaacupuncture) N.A.-D group(normal saline Aqua-acupuncture).
The gallbladder size, the body weight, serum total cholesterol, serum total blirubin, serum direct bilirubin, serum alkaline phosphatase and WBC were measured.
The reuslt were as follows.
1. The gallbladder size was decreased with the statistical significance in the trial groups compared with the control group.
2. The gody weight was increased with the statistical significance in G.S.R.-A group on the 19th day, G.S.R.- B group on the 5th, 10th and 15th day, G.S.R.- C group on the 15th day, However, it was increased without statistical significance in N.S.-D group.
3. Serum total cholesterol was decreased with the statistical significance in G.S.R.-A and G.S.R.-B group. However, it was decreased without statistical significance in G.S.R.-C and N.S.-D group.
4. Seurm total bilirubin was decreased with the statistical significance in G.S.R.-B group. However, it was decreased without statistical significance in G.S.R.-A, G.S.R.-C and N.S.-D group.
5. Serum direct bilirubin was decreased with the statistical significance in G.S.R.-A and G.S.R.-B group. However, it was decreased without statistical significance in G.S.R.-C and N.S.-D group.
6. Serum alkaline phosphatase was decreased with thestatistical sighificance in G.S.R.-A, G.S.R.-B and G.S.R.-C group, especially, G.S.R.-B group showed more significant decreased without statistical significance in N.S.-D group.
7. WBC was decreased with the statistical significance in all the G.S.R.-A, G.S.R.-B and G.S.R.-C group, especially, G.S.R.-B group showed more significant decreased than the other groups. However, it was decreased without staistical significance in N.S.-D group.
According to the above results, it is considered that G.S.R. Aqua-acupuncture at Yang nung chon(GB_(34)) showed the therapeutic effect to gallstone induced mice. Therefore, it is suggested that further deep studies and reserches for clinical use be needed.
